 Verified September Raspberry Beautiful location, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. Rooms were adequate if a bit less than sound proof. Could use a way to dry clothes/boots. But you come for the fishing, great variety Salmon, ling cod, halibut, cod, rockfish etc.. We managed to easily fill a 50 lb box each for 7 people with a day to spare. Overall an amazing experience, wouldn't hesitate to come back.

There were four of us in our group, and from beginning to end, this was truly one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences that we will be talking about for years. The fishing was absolutely incredible. One of the highlights of our trip was an epic day of river fishing for silver salmon. We caught an abundance of beautiful silvers — it was easily one of the most exciting and memorable days of fishing any of us have ever experienced. Our days on the ocean were just as fantastic. We had tremendous success fishing for halibut, cod, and rockfish, and every day brought a new adventure. The scenery alone would have made the trip worthwhile, but combining the breathtaking beauty of Alaska with such phenomenal fishing made the entire experience extraordinary. What really sets Raspberry Island Lodge apart, though, is the people. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Everyone was welcoming, hardworking, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure we were having an amazing experience. There is a warmth and personal touch here that you simply don’t find everywhere. You arrive as guests, but you quickly feel like you’re being welcomed into something much more special. The lodge, the setting, the fishing, the wildlife, the scenery, the people — Raspberry Island Lodge delivered the Alaska experience we had dreamed about and then some.  Verified A fantastic family adventure Wonderful family trip! We had 4 generations with us from 86 to 6 months. Raspberry lodge is family run operation, run which we can greatly appreciate! We had clean and large accommodations, incredible meals and exceptional, knowledgeable captains and deckhands. Did I mention just how beautiful this location is?! Absolutely serene! Accommodations were very comfortable and food plentiful and very tasty. Fishing was different every day but lots of quality fish were caught. Our fish boxes were full going home.

Sample Itinerary

Arrival Day

Travel to Kodiak by commercial flight, then continue to Raspberry Island by boat. Floatplane transport is arranged only on rare occasions, typically for guests who book a bear-viewing tour in advance. Upon arrival, you’ll meet the crew, settle into your cabin, and enjoy a welcome dinner.

Departure Day

Upon arrival to the beach, your fish are processed and frozen for transport home. Guests depart by boat or plane back to Kodiak with unforgettable memories and provided fish boxes.

Fishing Days

Each morning begins with a hearty breakfast before departing for guided fishing. Depending on tides and weather, you’ll target multiple species throughout the day. Lunch is served on the boat, and evenings feature home-cooked dinners and time to relax at the lodge
